Create your own ceramic forest mug
In the amazing forest area of Kočevsko, you will be inspired to create your own and unique mug from clay.
No previous experience is needed, only curiosity and about 4 hours of your time in two separate days.

Workshop details
The experience is based on sensing the clay, creating, and taking time just for you. Through this guided experience you will learn simple metods to work with clay like pinching and slab rolling techniques. With your imagination and creativity as well with the help of the inspiration of the forest, you will be able to create and decorate your product with engobe. All the materials are available here. After drying for about a week, the mug will be fired in the kiln at 1050°C and then glazed with clear glaze and fired again to 1250 °C, so it is safe to use it in daily life. The final product will be in your hands in about one month.

The workshop is in two parts:
- first part – when you create it (about 3 h)
- second part – when you decorate it with glaze colors after the bisque firing (about 1 h)
